2.Cable Soldering Clamp-3D Print
Cable Soldering Clamp by Ms – This model is a cable soldering fixture designed for easy and secure cable holding, ensuring a perfect soldering job. The dimensions are 755032mm with a clamp range of 0-15mm.
It boasts fast printing, a wide opening, stable clamping, and portability. The compact design allows for a quick 90-minute print time with a material usage of just 42g. The clamp range is significantly increased, from 0-15mm, with a non-slip design that ensures a secure hold. The spring design allows for printing without the need for a brim. Accessories include a spring, soldering box, and a vertical base, meeting multiple needs (the vertical base must be printed separately). This model has been re-modeled from scratch, with a custom design that takes advantage of FDM 3D printer features such as nesting and bridging. The spring is inserted into the button, which increases its length and significantly expands the compression range, allowing for a clamp opening of up to 15mm. This enables it to hold cables and small components with ease.
During the design process, various spring structures were tested (including but not limited to linear springs, tension springs, and bolt-spring combinations) to enhance functionality. Ultimately, a pressure spring was selected for its maturity and ease of replacement. The main slider has a 0.25mm gap, making it compatible with various filament types that have different expansion and contraction rates. With over three closely-fitting sliders, the pressing process is incredibly smooth.
Since the design incorporates bridging and the spring may cause slight friction during use, there might be minor noise when pressing, which is a normal occurrence. The soldering box is removable and can be printed separately. It utilizes the material’s natural elasticity, and the raised sidewalls ensure a firm connection with the main body.
The vertical base is the final design component, featuring resistance protrusions that keep it stable and secure, perfectly fitting with the model’s structure. While this model is similar to another one I’ve created, every component has been redesigned for a new, original functionality, providing an even better user experience. I do not wish to replace the previous model, as it has received great feedback, and I’m concerned that such a major structural update could negatively impact those who have already downloaded it. I hope this new creation helps even more people!
Once printed, simply close the clamp and insert the spring from the back to complete the setup. The body is stronger, the clamp is centered, and the design perfectly balances both functionality and aesthetics.

4.Mechanical Easter Egg with Iris-3D Print
This is a fun and unique 3D print design that looks like a regular Easter egg, but with a spherical iris opening at the bottom. The spherical iris is especially cool because when it opens, it seems to disappear into itself! This design is much more interesting than an ordinary Easter egg, and you can still hide small items inside it.
It's perfect for those rainbow or gradient filaments you've been saving, or you can make a vibrant striped egg while using up leftover materials.
The egg’s approximate dimensions are 70mm x 100mm, with an internal widest diameter of about 48mm and a height of approximately 95mm (though the diameter in this section is not constant).
Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, as the iris part includes a base that needs to be separated for it to function properly.

The design is intentionally tight, so if you find it difficult to assemble, try holding the handle and gently tapping the bottom part on the floor like a hammer until it clicks into place. If you're new to 3D printing, I’ve been creating fossil prints for my four-year-old to dig up in the woods—an activity that has been a huge hit! We've uncovered a saber-toothed tiger, an owl skull, and even a pterosaur. But then, we stumbled upon something that shouldn't exist—the remains of a prehistoric dragon. Printing Tips: This print is tricky! The spiked ridges at the back of the head make orientation challenging, but after much trial and error, I found the perfect setup. It prints flawlessly as is, but applying a bit of glue stick to the print bed can help with adhesion.

Are you a fan of the Alien movie franchise? Have you ever wanted to 3D print your own Alien bust? Now you can. This highly detailed Alien bust captures the eerie and menacing presence of the iconic creature, making it a perfect display piece for sci-fi enthusiasts and collectors alike.
For my print, I used Elegoo PETG Fast Print filament, aiming to achieve the best results possible. After printing, I put extra effort into post-processing to enhance the final look. I sanded the surface with a scouring pad, followed by 180-grit and then 240-grit sandpaper for a smoother finish. Next, I applied a random spray paint layer (not a primer), sanded it down, and repeated the process twice until the head was perfectly smooth. To complete the look, I sprayed it with semi-gloss black primer and finished with a high-gloss clear coat, giving it an authentic, sleek, and otherworldly appearance.
This project was well worth the effort, resulting in a stunning, polished display piece. However, if you prefer a simpler approach, printing it in black PETG will still achieve a fantastic result. (I only had red PETG, but it still turned out great.)

This 3D-printed Helping Hand, also known as a Third Hand, is an essential tool for working on electronics, soldering, and other precision projects. Unlike commercially available helping hands— which typically feature a simple alligator clip on an extending arm with limited adjustability— this design offers enhanced articulation and stability, making it far more versatile for a variety of tasks.
One key improvement over standard models is its ability to balance slightly heavier objects by utilizing a combination of articulating arms. However, during testing, I found that the flat base was not as stable as I wanted. To address this, I used TinkerCad (a free online design tool) to modify the base, hollowing out or curving the bottom so that it rests on three contact points, significantly improving stability on the work surface.
Additionally, I designed a modified arm to hold an alligator clip and added built-in holes for feeding wires through. This allows the tool to be used for testing circuits or conducting electricity, making it even more functional for electronics work.
