KIRI Innovations was founded with one mission: to empower 3D creators with state-of-the-art 3D technologies to create high-quality 3D content with ease and affordability
Our Team
We are a band of researchers and engineers, tinkerers, and artists who believe 3D scanning is the coolest tech in the universe. So we grouped together to make sure 3D scanning can advance into something that everyone can use and enjoy
We started KIRI right after university, when 3D scanning was still very complex and expensive, especially for students and individual creators. While KIRI has come a long way since then, our objective remains the same: make 3D scanning accessible and affordable for everyone.
That means we strongly stand for a free version that's actually usable, without ads and without paywalls on certain export formats or watermarks on your creations.
But like any fast-growing company, we have bills to pay: an expanding team to compensate, office utilities, server rentals to process your scans, marketing expenses to spread the word, and so on. This is why you'll see "In-app purchases" on our store description pages. The purchases are to unlock the technologies we poured our hearts into, as well as provide more maneuverability for your intricate projects.
This is Jack, CEO & Co-Founder at KIRI. Although you will rarely see him coding nowadays, he's love for all things techie hasn't faded. Now, duty calls him to the CEO side of the world, busy raising funds and boosting public awareness for our company. That's why you'll often catch him on YouTube like this or this.
Not only that, did you know Jack wanted to become a musician before he decided to pursue his engineering degrees? He is a fantastic classical saxophone player!
This is Chris, the other Co-Founder at KIRI. He's literally the smartest person I've ever met. He became an award-winning programmer long before he even set foot in university.
3D scanning is one of the fastest advancing industries today, with skill sets shifting from computer vision to computer graphics, and now into Al. But you'll see Chris master all these new knowledge as easy as he enjoys a good plate of a Hokkien Fried Rice (his favorite food, by the way).
